This sugar is extracted from sugar beet. It contains microscopic crystals with a diameter of less than one hundredth of a millimeter. Each crystal is covered with a thin film of dissolved sugar syrup. This prevents the crystals from clumping together and creating a crust. The product\u00a0can therefore be easily removed and directly ingested.<\/p><p>Thanks to its rapid absorption, this feeding paste allows the bees to supply themselves with nutrients from the spring period.
