APIINVERT® syrup for bees is perfectly adapted to the feeding of bees at the end of winter. The syrup is ready to use and does not require the addition of water.
The APIINVERT® sugar solution consists exclusively of saccharose (granulated sugar) and its constituent elements, fructose and glucose. Therefore, APIINVERT® does not contain any type of sugar that your bees do not know and cannot digest.
Even when temperatures are low, the high fructose content of the syrup helps to prevent crystallization inside the combs. As a result, this helps preventing the bees from starving to death.
The sugar concentration of 72.7% allows a high microbiological shelf life. The feed value of one liter of APIINVERT® corresponds to 1 kg of crystallized sugar. 1 kg of APIINVERT® corresponds to 0.73 kg of granulated sugar.
Even today, our producers still provide the raw material for our sugar, and therefore also for APIINVERT®, using local sugar beets from controlled cultivation contracts. The sugar beet is processed in a regional and sustainable way.
The ideal composition of the sugar spectrum is similar to that of flower honey and allows the bees to make optimal use of this feeding syrup.
APIINVERT® is ready to use and easy to use. The high resistance to microbiological spoilage due to a sugar content of 72.7% guarantees a long shelf life.
Our syrup for bees contains only sugars that the bee can fully utilize, unlike comparable bee feed syrups based on wheat or corn.
Our largely automated and gentle manufacturing process and permanent quality controls guarantee that only APIINVERT® that meets all legal requirements is delivered. For example, the HMF content during production is between 10 and 20 ppm, well below the recommendations of the German Federal Ministry of Agriculture.
APIINVERT® is perfect for late winter feeding.
Feeding in small quantities:
Make 3 to 5 holes (approximately 1 mm diameter) in the 2.5 kg pack and place it on the frames.
Direct feeding from the bucket:
Press the lid on firmly (1) and peel off partially the cover film (2). Place the upturned bucket horizontally in the beehive (3). After the bucket is turned upside down, about half a litter of APIINVERT® will flow out of the holes in the lid until a vacuum forms in the bucket. From then on, the bees will take only the amount of feed they need from the opening of the lid. You can also pour APIINVERT® into the feeder.
This little video will show you how to use APIINVERT®.
